Hi! I'm Isaac, a 25 year-old biology tinkerer & freelance writer with a knack for telling stories. If you're interested in hearing about the most exciting technological advances in biotech, feel free to see my Blog where I write regularly about exciting startups! And if you're in any way involved in a growing biotech company, It would be a pleasure to connect with you and share your story with the world! :)
My professional journey began with a transformative internship at Inzen Therapeutics (Now Sonata Therapeutics) where I had the immense pleasure of working with some of the brightest oncologists in the world, true pioneers in their field. Then, leaving New York for Boston, I went on to study molecular biology at Northeastern University. Just weeks before I was about to have the profound pleasure of wearing a funny tasseled hat at an interminably long graduation ceremony, I moved from Boston to the San Francisco Bay Area. Joining a cohort at the Illumina Accelerator program, I transformed from a novice pipetter to a bona fide master of serial dilutions. Currently, I'm a Research Associate on the RNA team at SeqMatic, where I regularly transmute RNA into billions of reads.
In the fleeting moments when I'm not working, I love playing basketball at my local YMCA, and spending time with my beautiful Fiancée, Natasha. Many of my dearest moments are at my home in Sarasota, Florida, where I spend time with my amazing family (including Nunu, the sweetest standard poodle in the world).
